    • Goods can be transshipped from Euro rail cars or vehicles to CIS wagons and vice versa. Typically, this transshipment takes place at the receiving railway station unless otherwise agreed. For example, in railway transportation from Moldova and Ukraine to Romania, the Romanian Railway (CFR) tranships the cargo at its stations.

  3. Railway Transportation with Rearrangement of Axles

    • CIS wagons can be transferred to narrow gauge bogies (1435 mm) and, accompanied by protection-wagons, transported to loading/unloading stations deeper into Romania, such as Constanta port. However, this option is more economical for larger lots of 27-28 cars, and the total weight (wagon + cargo) should not exceed 80 tons per rail car.
